Stacey Jessiman de Nanteuil speaking at the “Human Rights and Cultural Heritage: A New Paradigm” conference in Chicago

On November 2, 2017, Stacey Jessiman de Nanteuil will be speaking at the “Human Rights and Cultural Heritage: A New Paradigm” conference at DePaul University College of Law in Chicago, IL.

Stacey will give a talk entitled “A Distinct Approach for Resolving Indigenous Cultural Heritage Disputes”. The conference is organized by Professor Patty Gerstenblith, director of the Center for Art, Museum & Cultural Heritage Law and Chair of President Obama’s Cultural Property Advisory Committee, and brings together experts from the fields of anthropology and law to examine the connection between a just society and the protection of cultural heritage.
