Alex is an associate at the Toronto office. He is a member of the Wolastoqiyik from Kingsclear First Nation in New Brunswick.

He completed his undergrad degree at St. Thomas University and graduated from the Schulich School of Law in 2021. After being called to the Nova Scotia Bar in 2022, he worked at the Nova Scotia Department of Justice, representing the Minister of Opportunities and Social Development in child welfare litigation where he gained extensive courtroom experience. During law school, he completed a clinical term at the Dalhousie Legal Aid Service, providing legal services to low-income individuals in family, child protection, youth criminal justice, and residential tenancy matters.

Prior to law, Alex worked for several years for his First Nation community in the public school system as a cultural and educational support worker, and then as a youth prevention worker.
