On December 8, 2014, the Mikisew Cree First Nation presented a petition to the World Heritage Committee to have Wood Buffalo National Park included on the list of World Heritage in Danger. This week MCFN representatives and Mark Gustafson, of JFK, are attending the 39th Session of the World Heritage Committee in Bonn, Germany.
