JFK is pleased to welcome our New Summer Students

JFK Law is pleased to introduce 3 new members of our team who will be joining us as they work on their summer terms.

Prior to working at JFK, Sangey worked in the Parliament of Canada under the Office of MP Garnett Genuis, and has also done work leading youth programs and other events to support the Tibetan-Canadian community in Toronto.

Brendan Schatti joins the Toronto office as a summer student. Brendan is of mixed Anishinaabe and Swiss descent from Lac Seul First Nation (Treaty #3), a student representative to the Indigenous Bar Association in Canada’s Board of Governors, and will finish his 3rd year at Osgoode Hall Law School in fall of 2023. Brendan recently completed Osgoode’s “Intensive Program in Indigenous Lands, Resources, and Governments” where he interned with the Self-Governance Communication and Education Tribal Consortium in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Moira Kelly has joined us in our Victoria office as a summer student. Moira will be entering her third year in the joint degree program in Canadian Common Law (JD) and Indigenous Legal Orders (JID) at the University of Victoria this fall.
