This report is published by JFK Law LLP under British Columbia’s Pay Transparency Act and Pay Transparency Regulation and covers the period January 1 to December 31, 2025. It shows how pay at the firm compares across gender categories in four areas: hourly pay, overtime pay, bonus pay, and pay quartiles. Some groups are too small to report on safely so the results for those groups are shown as “Suppressed” rather than as figures. Provincial guidance requires suppression wherever a category has fewer than 10 employees, because publishing results for a very small group could make it possible to work out an individual’s pay. Suppression does not mean that information is being withheld or that no data was collected; it is a privacy safeguard. In the pay gap tables, employees who preferred not to say or whose gender is unknown are used as the reference group and set at $1.00, and the other results are expressed relative to that group. For example, a figure of $1.10 means that group earns $1.10 for every $1.00 earned by the reference group.
As a result of suppression, this report mainly shows how women’s pay compares to the reference group, and it does not provide a complete comparison across all gender categories.
