Jade is an associate at the Toronto office. She is a member of Xaxli’p First Nation and holds a Juris Doctor with a specialization in Aboriginal law from the University of British Columbia.

Prior to joining JFK Law, Jade clerked for the Honourable Justice Paul Favel at the Federal Court. She assisted on administrative law cases while clerking, including matters related to election disputes, treaty rights, and the duty to consult. She also articled in-house at a utility company where she gained experience in regulatory, environmental, and municipal law.

During law school, Jade was a student clinician at the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic where she helped Indigenous clients with criminal, civil, family, and Aboriginal matters. She was also a research assistant on a project for the Tŝilhqot’in National Government focusing on jurisdiction and emergency management during COVID-19, which culminated in the Dada Nentsen Gha Yatastɨg report.

Outside of work, Jade can usually be found beading earrings, reading, or looking for the best dessert spots.
