Maria Baracaldo is a Paralegal based in our Calgary office.

Prior to joining JFK in 2015, Maria was completing a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Sociology with a certificate in Social Justice from Simon Fraser University. Her Anthropology degree ignited a passion to work with Indigenous communities.

Maria assists lawyers in managing litigation matters and is passionate about providing clients with efficient and high-quality service. She has worked in many jurisdictions throughout Canada, including British Columbia, Alberta, Ontario, Federal Court, Federal Court of Appeal, and Supreme Court of Canada.

When not working, Maria enjoys cooking, reading, and running (very slowly) along the seawall.
