Milica is an associate at JFK Law, where her practice focuses on litigation and dispute resolution. She is committed to advancing Indigenous self-determination and approaches her work with a collaborative, pragmatic mindset.
Prior to joining JFK in 2025, Milica practiced general civil litigation at a leading national law firm in Vancouver. She has acted for individuals, private entities, non-profit organizations, and pro bono clients in trial and appellate courts, administrative tribunals, arbitrations, interventions, and class proceedings. Previously, Milica clerked at the British Columbia Supreme Court.
Milica brings a unique interdisciplinary perspective to her legal practice, informed by her background in public health. Prior to law, she worked in British Columbia, Ecuador, and Uganda in the areas of harm reduction, drug policy, and case management for clients living with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C.
During law school, Milica served as a senior editor of the Indigenous Law Journal, a lab member of Amnesty International’s Digital Verification Corps, and a researcher at both the Dalla Lana School of Public Health and the Pacific Centre for Environmental Law & Litigation. Milica has presented her work before the WHO Collaborating Centre for Governance, Transparency, and Accountability in the Pharmaceutical Centre.
Milica is a settler currently living and working on Squamish, Tsleil-Waututh, and Musqueam territory. Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time outside with friends and family, traveling, and karaoke.
